Built by a Family. Trusted Nationwide.
Calidad Services is family-owned — founded by Dennis and Blake Smallie with a shared belief: that every client deserves security solutions built with integrity, expertise, and relentless attention to detail.
Our Story
Security That Actually Works.
Calidad Services, Inc. was founded in California with a simple mission: deliver security that actually works. With more than 150 years of combined leadership experience in physical security, technology integration, and surveillance operations, our founding team saw an industry full of half-measures — outdated camera systems, unreliable guard services, and disconnected technologies. We built Calidad to be different.
Today, Calidad is a 70+ person operation serving construction companies, property managers, government agencies, and private estates across California, with Advanced Virtual Guarding and surveillance units protecting sites nationwide. We operate our own fleet of mobile surveillance units and a dedicated Security Operations Center for Advanced Virtual Guarding.
We're not a franchise. We're not a reseller. We're a California-born company that designs, builds, installs, and monitors security systems end-to-end. That's the Calidad difference.
